Pont-Aven was build in 2004 for Brittany Ferries at Meyer Werft shiyards in Germany.

Since March 2004, she is Brittany Ferries flagship. She is also the longest, widest & fastest ferry to ever operate on the English Channel and to Spain. She offers facilities and standards previously only found on cruise ships, including a wrap around promenade deck, covered pool, shopping malls and cabins with their own private balcony.

Her regular routes are :

  • Plymouth-Santander
  • Plymouth-Roscoff
  • Roscoff-Cork
  • Portsmouth-St Malo in winter only
