Build in Australia in 2007, the Jacques Cartier allowed "Compagnie Corsaire" to open a new service between Saint-Malo and Jersey. This is a passenger only service. Departures are from the maritime station of la Bourse, "under the ramparts". This vessel can embark nearly 200 passengers and 5 crew members .
History
Jacques Cartier was build in 2007 at Strategic Marine shipyard in Henderson (Australia) for the Compagnie Corsaire. She was delivered in Saint-Malo July 27th, 2007, carried from Australia by the heavy lift vessel Annemieke (see photo report).
The Jacques Cartier began her service to Jersey the 4th August 2007.
